Well hello there

i'm lauren! washington gal right here. finishing up my degree in sociology and creative writing at the university of washington + an editorial intern for Dressember. grew up in a suburb north of seattle, lived briefly in hawaii and thailand for youth with a mission (ywam), and now dwell in the quirkiness that is seattle (why yes, i own four raincoats & one with dogs in raincoats). next up = 9 months in england for bible school!

so what’s little matchbox? goodness, glad you asked. little matchbox is basically a conglomeration of tucked away tidbits. it’s my small world of spilled paint, musings, adventures, photography, poems, thrift store finds, and whatever else might pop up.  basically, i love creating with every fiber of my being, and i’m here to share my ventures, creations, and things i learn as i go.
